The new video concert and album Afromagia are out now!
African witchcraft magic, Cuban sun, Spanish flamenco, house, techno, live looping and voices from the past came together in my video concert AFROMAGIA, which was recorded live by me and filmed by the Samshit Production team.
The name Afromagia contains 2 concepts - African culture and the Spanish word "magic".
Afromagia is 5 dance-mystical songs and 5 compositions with lyrics to atmospheric music. They were added to the album later, and are a fairy tale about the shamanic initiation "The Path of the Shaman", which I wrote especially for the album. The fairy tale is part of my universe of Forgotten Worlds and a prequel to the new show, and its hero became the main character of the play "Isidis - The Voice of the Forgotten Worlds".
3 Yoruba Songs of the album are inspired by the Afro-Cuban Santeria Religion:
Ide Were - prayer to the goddess of beauty and love Ochun,
Iya Lagua - a chant to the god Obbatala, who created the earth and man from water and clay,
Barasuayo - prayer to Elegua, the god of fate, its paths and crossroads.
And two songs in Spanish:
Canto del Pilon - Venezuelan song of girls grinding grain, in which they dream of a better life,
La Brisa - my flamenco-fusion song, about love that makes the heart burn.

I'm Carina La Dulce, singer, composer and producer. I am a dreamer and invite you to dive into your dreams together with my music. I create it in my own style named Dream Ethno Soul and consisting of many beautiful colors of traditional Flamenco, Latin, African, Indian music mixed with the powerful energy of modern Electronic music. I share beautiful ancient stories, witnessed in the infinite space of our soul and narrated by the universal language of our heart.
I was born in Moscow, Russia in the family of big jazz and blues fans and my father used to play guitar and sing Russian romances. My music carries echoes of several world cultures.
I performed in projects of different genres till the moment I immersed deeply in the art of flamenco and decided to devote myself to it due to my great passion to the art of genius singer Camaron de Isla, to his unique inner freedom in music.
When I moved in Granada and after that in Triana, the district of Sevilla, - the craddle of cante hondo - I started to adopt this complicated art from traditional singers and old men who generously opened their secrets for me.
I have performed in the big musical shows Flamenco: Inside and Outside, Picasso, The Legend of Romeo and Juliet, Vagabundo (Russia) and Gypsy Soul (USA)., was a soloist of the Spanish Dance Theater Flamenco Live and the World Music Orchestra Sambateria.
I have also been a special guest performer in various shows Old Spanish Songs with classical musicians, and released an album of old Spanish and Sephardic Songs entitled Andalusia.
I am very proud to be the winner of a Special Jury Prize of one of the largest flamenco festivals ¡Viva España! and to be nominated on Russian World Music Awards 2018.
I am also very happy to often tour US, Europe and CIS countries performing and creating music with many artists from different genres. I was invited as a special guest to perform for officials of Russia and Spain and have participated in a variety of music festivals, including one of the largest international festivals Usadba Jazz.
In 2023, I created the Theater of National and Contemporary Arts "Antares", in whose productions the images of my music - the universe of Forgotten Worlds - come to life. And this is the only theater in the world whose performances combine modern visual technologies - 3D video projections, high-quality live music from rock to ethno-electronics, deep philosophical meanings of plots, colorful designer costumes and a whole galaxy of stars of traditional and modern genres - dancers, musicians and artists.

The Universe of Forgotten Worlds is a space where our most secret dreams and memories of what will happen someday live. It is home to the sparkling shores of eternity and the dark desert of death, from where travelers come out to the call of their will. It is home to a magical forest of souls, where dazzlingly glowing birds flutter. There, the Tree of Life gives birth to us again and again from the depths of the heavily breathing, fertile land. It is home to the dark river of ancient tales and the pure spring water of the voices of our ancestors, which fill it to the brim with their passionate songs.
And on the banks of this river is a shining city, which falls asleep under water with the dawn of a hundred suns. There, love is the only language that everyone can speak, and sadness is its ecstatic child with crystal tears in its huge eyes. There, the ocean hears our thoughts, and the wind carries them away in all directions as a festive sign. There we live - observing the breath of the present with the heart and eyes of all the heroes whose lives we live. We ourselves are heroes beyond time and space, proclaiming life, inspired by the deep essence of creation. We create worlds and spin in their endless colorful round dance.
